CIP is an approved Access Point for the Reach Fund, an investment readiness grant programme funded by Access – the Foundation for social investment. The Reach Fund provides grants to help organisations that are in the process of applying for social investment but need some additional help before they are fully ‘investment ready’. The grants can be used to pay for things like professional services, consultant support and staff time.

Access Points are social investors approved by the Reach Fund to refer charities and social enterprises to the programme. If approved, these charities and social enterprises can apply for grants to help them secure investment.

The Reach Fund is an investment readiness grant programme, funded by Access – The Foundation for Social Investment and managed by Social Investment Business. It will test a new model of investment readiness support to help charities and social enterprises raise investment.

The Reach Fund offers small grants to charities and social enterprises that are looking to raise investment with one of the approved social investors – Access Points. The grant will be used to cover the costs of specific pieces of work that need to be completed to help organisations secure an investment. Examples include developing a business plan, seeking legal advice on a specific issue, putting together financial forecasts etc.

You should apply for investment from CIP or submit an enquiry to us at [email protected]. If we think you need some extra support before you are ready to take on an investment we will talk this over with you before referring you to the Reach Fund where you can apply for support.
